A Play Lab with Rooted in Reggio is a special, hands-on experience designed for children to explore, create, and learn through play. Each Play Lab is set up with open-ended materials and engaging invitations that spark curiosity, imagination, and collaboration.

Rather than a structured “class,” Play Labs give children the freedom to follow their interests and make discoveries at their own pace, while caring educators gently guide and support their exploration. Every activity is rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and holistic growth.

We understand that life with children can be unpredictable, and we want to make our Play Labs as flexible as possible while also honoring the preparation that goes into each session.
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the Play Lab will receive a full refund or credit toward a future session.
- Cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the Play Lab are eligible for a 50% refund or credit.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the Play Lab, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.
If Rooted in Reggio needs to cancel a Play Lab due to unforeseen circumstances, families will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future session.

- Registration & Payment: Payment is required at the time of registration to secure your child’s spot in a Play Lab. Spaces are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Accepted Payments: We accept Venmo and cash payments. Venmo payment linked at the bottom of this page!!
- Refunds & Credits: Refunds or credits are issued according to our Cancellation Policy.
- Transfers: If space allows, families may transfer their registration to a different Play Lab date by contacting us at least 48 hours in advance.
