Our Founder
Hi, I’m Karleigh—founder of Rooted In Reggio and a believer in the magic of early childhood. My passion has always lied in the wonder and wisdom of young children. I’ve dedicated my teaching career to creating spaces where they feel truly seen, heard, and celebrated. At Rooted In Reggio we are committed to environments and practices that align with the Reggio Emilia approach and honor each human as they are.
Our Vision
Our vision is grounded in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we are passionate about creating environments that allow children to freely explore play-based opportunities. Creating spaces for children to guide their own experiences and learning, we believe will lead them to a life full of curiosity and discovery.
Our Philosophy
At Rooted In Reggio we honor the image of the child as a collaborator and co-constructor of knowledge, and we value the role of environment, relationships, and community in shaping meaningful experiences. We believe childhood should be filled with joy, and a sense of belonging. Our role is to nurture that journey, walking alongside children as they grow, learn, and thrive.
